Elastic waistbands require either a knitted or woven flat elastic. The knitted elastic that we offer is normally used as an insert elastic that will be covered by fabric. From boxer shorts to hospital scrubs, to pajama bottoms to sweatpants. The knitted elastic waistband material style number 7600, comes in a plush back for comfort against the skin. We also offer our GW50 and GW61 knitted elastic waistband which is known as a gripper elastic normally used in bike pants so the fabric does not ride up and down. Any of our woven elastic waistband materials are used when the designed waistband is viewable. We also offer a non-roll woven elastic style number 9905 that prevents the top of waistbands from rolling over.
Our clothing elastic can be used from suspenders to belts to insert elastics to cuffs on sleeves or pants. Our 44dc and 80dc are flat knitted elastic with a draw cord incorporated in the center. This is also known as an insert clothing elastic that takes care of two jobs giving you the elasticity and also the cord to draw or cinch the waistband.
